WOW! Hungary made 1,000 world-class ventilators
One thousand world-class ventilators produced in Hungary on commission by the foreign ministry will be ready to use in the country’s health care system within days, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said on Friday.
The ventilators made by Celitron Medical Technologies use class-leading technology, Szijjarto told a press conference at the company’s headquarters in Vác near Budapest. The ventilators can be used without age limit, their energy consumption is low and they can operate independently from the compressed air outlets available at hospital intensive care units, he added.
The ventilators have been tested at the military hospital in Budapest, the Debrecen university hospital and the Semmelweis Medical University, and the feedback has been excellent, he said. Some 900 units are ready for transport and 100 are still being tested, he added.
